Practical Stuff, what you need to remember before leaving the Church

When we picture our Omaha Wedding, we see the romance, the fun, and the beautiful moments, but there are a lot of practical things that need to be taken care of as well. It is good to anticipate them and be sure you have a plan for taking care of them. One thing that always needs to be done is packing up the rooms where you and your bridesmaids and your new husband and his groomsmen got ready or where they spent those moments before the wedding. A typical bride's room has shoes, hairspray, makeup, the clothes you changed out of and many other items. If you can, pack all this stuff up prior to the ceremony and go ahead and put it in a car. Designate someone to be sure the room is cleaned up and all your stuff is out of there. The last thing you want to be doing after the ceremony is picking up and carrying stuff to your car. Another important thing is to remember that a lot of guests will bring cards and gifts to the ceremony. Be sure there is a table for the gifts and maybe a fancy decorated box or birdcage for the cards. Plan on having someone make sure that the gifts get from the ceremony and to the reception. Many new couples also have photographs taken after the ceremony. Talk with your photographer and find out how many photographs will be taken, where they will be taken, and about how long this will take so that can be added into your timeline.
